Winter Gardens

Hello and a Happy New Year

Today is my first day back in the studio, and its a freezing cold studio here today too! I started the day with a very brisk frosty walk to drop of my children at school and nursery, getting back into normal routine came as a bit of a shock to the system but its lovely to be in my studio and making creative plans for 2026.

Over the break I had a morning at Cambo Gardens to take photos ready for this months subscription. The walled gardens are part of a larger estate on the coast in Fife in Scotland, we were visiting family so it was a nice chance to go for a walk in-between eating mince pies and get some ideas. The garden has stables and out-buildings with a little cafe and shop. The also have an edible garden where they grow a lot of produce as well as plants to sell. If you do live near by then they have an amazing snowdrop collection that will be growing soon.
