Hello, March came around rather quickly didn’t it! February was a busy month of running workshops for me and developing a few new outreach projects for schools too. I have had a few days being back in the studio to focus on my own work this week, I am also very much enjoying a feeling of spring in the air and a less chilly studio too.

Last month we were looking at garden birds and I thought it would be lovely to continue that theme this month with some small paintings. I started a few in the studio and I will share what I am learning and how I am approaching them as I go along. It will be lovely to try and capture the blossom starting to appear and I have noticed the robins in my garden are just beginning to gather materials to make theirs nests. I am looking forward to trying to capture these and sharing throughout March.
