November Process

Welcome to our Process activity as part of Novembers nature on paper theme.
I have been enjoying making simple nature stamps this month, it seems like the perfect introduction to printmaking but with easy limited equipment - simply ink pads and plasticine.
As part of the drawing activity earlier in the month I really enjoyed looking at the textures of natural forms I had gathered and this feels like a nice extension of that idea. The process of making stamps is a relaxing activity and can be simply be enjoyed just to slow down and play, making a page of graphic marks is lovely in itself or these can be turned into other pieces of art and decorations. I will show you a few examples and different outcomes I have been making in this post.
