It’s November and the first month of Making Impressions!

I have just made a coffee and pinched one of my children’s chocolates from last nights trick or treating stash before i write this post. I am never sure about the term trick or treat, i grew up in Scotland where we call it guising, i think its likely a shortening of the word disguising although i am not exactly sure! Now we live in Yorkshire and no one knows what i am talking about when i say guising. Tonight we are going to an early bonfire night and we are all excited about that too.

I am launching my paid subscription for Making impressions today. Starting off with a three month creative project called nature on paper that includes lots of drawing and simple printmaking to try. Here is a little video of me doing some wobbly inky drawing to get into the swing of it.

Making impressions will include
